IEVA DZĒRVE

Accompanist - Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music / JVLMA (Riga, Latvia)

IEVA DZĒRVE is a Latvian pianist born in Riga. She graduated from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (Professor Valdis Jancis’s piano class and
Professor Jānis Maļeckis’s chamber class). Her professional knowledge has
been essentially improved and enriched by the master classes of Professor Ariane Jacob at Nice International Summer Music Academy which she
attended and actively participated in. Since 2002 Ieva has been working as an accompanist at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music being also a member of the teaching staff at Jāzeps Mediņš Riga secondary Music school. She works with the students of flute, saxophone, euphonium and tuba, percussion, choral and orchestra conducting, chamber and opera singing classes. Starting from 1997, Ieva has been teaching and training young pianists and since 1999 she has been an accompanist at Emīls Dārziņš Music secondary school, flute class. Ieva has been a choir singer artist for Riga Chamber Choir Ave Sol since 2000. In addition, she has been actively performing with the young performers in competitions, concerts, in master classes (Phillip Moll, Carlo Jans, Patrick Gallois, Felix Renggli, Philippe Bernold, Michael Faust, Janos Balint, Giedrus Gelgotas, Peter van Klink, Joost Smeets,
Michael Lind, Steven Mead, Mario Marzi, Lorenzo Della Fonte, Fried Dobelstein, James Saker). Ieva has also rich experience in performing in solo concerts with famous musicians as Steven Mead, Michael Faust, Carlo Jans, Janos Balint and Charsie Randolph Sawyer. Ieva has been involved in numerous records in Latvian Radio. Ieva has taken part in various European projects as in different parts of the world such as Scandinavia, Russia, Israel, China and Japan.Languages: English, Latvian, Russian and French.
