How to come to Diekirch?

Can I stay the first Thursday evening at the internat ? (one additional night)

This would be an additional night without breakfast for 20 EUR/person. Arrive between 6pm and 11pm. Send us an email about your arrival please !
What at the arrival and departure times ?

Arrive between 9am and 1pm on the first Friday You can leave the last Sunday after the final concert (11pm) or stay the last night at the internat and leave in morning
Can I stay longer at the internat?

No, you have to leave on last Monday morning, even if you really like the place.
When will the lessons start ?

At 1pm the first Friday.
Where is the meeting point ?

The meeting point is at the Internat Jos Schmitt Diekirch 3, rue du Moulin Diekirch
Can someone pick me up at the airport/station?

No, we can't organize transport for you, but see at the top of this page, it's very easy to come to Diekirch.
Do I need to bring something if I sleep at the internat ?

Take your towel, if you want you can take your sleeping bag and your pillow. We have light blanket for you.
Can I share a room with someone ?

No, we have only single room.
Is there a wifi at the internat ?

Yes ! But only available when your daily scales are done :-)
Can my parents/friends stay with me at the internat ?

Yes, the price will be 30 EUR / night / person, breakfast included. We have only individual rooms. The number of rooms is limited. Please contact us to organize this special request.
Are there some rooms to practice ?

At the Lycée, the flutists can practice, we have a lot of rooms there. Pianists can use the Music School.
Can I pay with a "Cheque" or with Visa card?"

Not possible. You have to transfer the money or pay in cash.
If I cancel my participation, can I get back the deposit?"

No. Only if the Forum for Flute and Piano has to cancel the masterclass, you will get your deposit back. If you cancel your participation, the deposit will not be refunded.
Can I come with my pet ?

Not possible.
Can I chose which professor of flute I want to have my lesson with?

The schedule will be done for everybody and will stay fair. No special requests possible.
Can I cook myself at the internat?

yes, we have kitchen fully equiped where you can prepare your lunch/dinner. A shop is near the internat to buy all the food you need
Do I have to play in the concerts?

Every student is welcome to play in concerts, but this is not mandatory. Because we have a lot of concerts, the professors will decide the concert programs.
I'm a flute player, do I need to bring the piano score ?"

Yes, our pianists don't have/know everything!

Do I need my music stand?

There are no music stands at the internat, if you need one, you must bring your own. At the music school you will have one per room.
What should I prepare ?

Flutists: Prepare five works of different periods and styles: sonatas, concertos, for flute solo or for flute and piano. optionaly: one baroque sonata for flute and harpsichord (chamber music lesson with Ewa Rzetecka) Pianists: Prepare repertoire of five works (if possible, include one sonata by L.v.Beethoven) Harpsichord players: Prepare repertoire of five works for harpsichord.
Is the masterclass folllowing the Corona requirements?

Yes, All the corona safety requirements will be respected during the masterclass. We will follow all the guidelines of Ministry of Health like the conservatories in Luxembourg.
